What is the protospacer adjacent motif (PAM) sequence for Cpf1? How is this different from Cas9?
The PAM sequence for the Cpf1 system is TTTV , where "V" is a A, C, or G. The Cpf1 PAM sequence can be advantageous when working with T-rich target sequences. In contrast, the Cas9 PAM sequence is NGG.
