Will I lose more oligo when resuspending in polystyrene tubes compared with polypropolyene tubes?
Oligonucleotide can be lost due to adsorption into the tube wall when storing the DNA in polystyrene. We recommend using polypropylene tubes for oligonucleotide storage to minimize such loss. All IDT oligonucleotides are shipped out in low absorption polypropylene tubes which can be used for long term storage without significant loss of material.
