A CRISPR-Cas9 guide RNA (gRNA) is required to direct the base editor to the desired genomic target. At a minimum, a base editing experiment requires the ABE8e mRNA base editor and a compatible Cas9 gRNA. Depending on your workflow, additional reagents for delivery and downstream analysis may also be required.
